The Psalms give us many good words to think about the grace of God. Consider these:
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.
What do these Psalms say to you?
Repeat them as a prayer, several times.
Pick one verse and memorize it.
O God, I am learning that my words matter very much, not only to people but also to you. I pray that my words would be acceptable and pleasing to you. Set a guard over my mouth, Lord, so that only good things come out of it. Keep watch, and help me to use my words for your good purposes. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
